Her love for gift giving shows in every intentionally packed box.

Gone fishin’

Danielle served in the United States Navy for 8 years before starting her 30 year career working in international transportation in Chicago, Illinois. She retired from that career after moving to her homestead in New Glarus, Wisconsin in 2016. Her homestead is a located on the top of a hill in the woods outside of town. She and her husband raise bees*, laying hens, meat birds, sheep and have a group of rescue alpaca. On the domestic side of things they have four dogs and two barn kitties, and Danielle also fosters senior dogs. She is a fierce protector of all animals. She does not shy away from conflict when it comes to mistreatment of animals. If anything causes her to lose sleep, it is an animal being mistreated.

Her current homestead project involves working with local experts to remove invasive species and restore the woodlands on their property. Tucked into the woods they have planted a fruit orchard next to her large vegetable garden.

Danielle loves fishing, cooking and spending time with friends. She is very active. She enjoys playing pickleball, camping and kayaking and has been an Orange Theory addict for the last 9 years.

When asked what she enjoys most about work, Danielle said she really enjoys the gratification of completing a long day. She loves troubleshooting and the way we work as a team to figure out challenges. She loves the customer service, quality control and she especially loves reading emails from happy customers. She is very proud of all we have accomplished in our 5+ years in business.

Thank you so much for reading and for supporting our journey. We are here because of, and for, you.
