Are you interested in learning how to properly flesh and prepare a hide?

Good hide preparation is the first, and most critical step, in natural tanning.

Join us for a Fleshing Workshop on Saturday, April 19 at our workshop in Argyle, Wisconsin from 10:00 am to noon. The cost will be $50 per person. We plan to have enough fresh hides available for everyone to flesh and prepare an entire hide. There will be an option for you to get the hide you flesh bark tanned for a fee.

We plan to have fleshing beam plans drawn up for everyone to take with them and we will have some additional tools and supplies on hand for purchase; i.e. our favorite fleshing knives, large PVC for building out your own fleshing beam, and anything else we think of that will make your job easier.
